Uniform Fraudulent Conveyance Act(UFCA)
Law
set of laws adopted in 1918 by a national commission on uniform state laws seeking to address the issue of conveyances made by an insolvent or bankrupt debtor who attempts to defraud a creditor. Some conveyances were presumed fraudulent while others required that there be actual intent to commit fraud. The Act has been replaced in most states by the Uniform Fraudulent Transfer Act.
